A 7.7% Rye beer using spicy heritage rye and fermented out like a Weizenbock.
A spicy, full-bodied beer with clove and banana esters on the forefront. Roggenbier is an older style beer with its roots in Germany and we felt we had to play left field with this one. Fermented cool on Weizen yeast the rye provides a wonderful sharp spicy character which is layered into the clove and banana esters, A very flavorsome beer!
